September is National Sewing Month!!
I think that’s cause for celebration! Â Come to the 2nd Annual SEWING FOR OTHERS DAY! Â What better way to celebrate than by getting together to sew, learn a few new skills, sewing with old and new friends and most importantly, to give back to our community!
Textiles by Tawny is hosting Sewing for Others in celebration of Nat’l Sewing Month. Â We will be making toys and beds for the cats and dogs in area animal shelters and rescue homes. Â All patterns, fabric and stuffing will be provided. Â (Please see the sign up if you have extra pillows and t-shirts) Â If you have a sewing machine and basic supplies please bring them with you. Â Come for an hour or come all day!!
Ages 8 and Up and all skill levels, including beginners are welcome. Â Come have some fun, meet other people who share your love of sewing and let’s make some cats and dogs really happy again! Â The doors open at 10:30am!

Time to Sew! starts in two weeks. Â This very lightweight clock can be hung by a t-pin or sat on a stand. Â The kit includes everything you will need to make this clock and you will leave with a finished, WORKING clock for yourself or a gift for someone else. Â Feel free to change up the colors with fabrics from home. Â There will be tons of buttons to choose from in a lot of colors and the gears and clock hands will go with any fabrics. Â This is a 2 day class June 18th-19th from 1-4pm for $65 which includes the kit fee.
